Denon AVR-S660H 5.2-Channel 8K AV Receiver
The Denon AVR-S660H is a 5.2-channel AV receiver designed for modern home theatre, gaming and high-quality music playback. It combines a discrete 5-channel amplifier section with advanced 8K HDMI connectivity, immersive surround sound formats and HEOS Built-in for convenient network and multi-room audio.
The receiver delivers 75 watts per channel at 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with 0.08% THD and supports speakers with impedance from 4 to 16 ohms. Its two subwoofer outputs allow a 5.2-channel speaker configuration with dual subwoofers for greater flexibility in bass placement.
For home theatre, the AVR-S660H supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Surround and DTS Neo:6 processing. It can reproduce high-quality surround sound from compatible Blu-ray players, streaming services, televisions and other AV sources.
Its HDMI section provides six HDMI inputs and one HDMI output with eARC. Three HDMI inputs support 8K video, with 8K/60Hz and select 4K/120Hz pass-through. The receiver also supports modern HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG and Dynamic HDR.
Gaming features include 4K/120Hz pass-through, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Quick Frame Transport (QFT), providing compatibility with modern gaming consoles and displays.
Audyssey MultEQ room correction measures the connected speakers and helps optimize their performance for the listening environment. This provides a convenient way to configure and calibrate the home theatre system according to the characteristics of the room.
HEOS Built-in provides wireless network music streaming and multi-room audio functionality. The AVR-S660H also supports Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing users to stream music from compatible smartphones, tablets and network services. A dedicated phono input is also provided for connecting a compatible turntable.
