Which HDMI cable do I need for 4K?
For 4K at 60Hz a High Speed cable is enough. For 4K at 120Hz or 8K, use an Ultra High Speed cable certified for 48Gbps.
How long can an HDMI run be?
Passive copper is reliable to about 5 metres at high resolutions. Beyond that use an active or optical HDMI cable, especially for in-wall runs where replacing it later is difficult.
Does expensive speaker cable make a difference?
Gauge and length matter more than price. Use a thicker gauge for long runs; beyond that, spend the money on the speakers instead.
