FAAC 740 Electromechanical Sliding Gate Operator – 500 kg

The FAAC 740 and 741 are electromechanical sliding gate operators
designed for residential sliding gates. The range provides reliable
automatic gate movement with an integrated control unit, magnetic
limit switches and easy programming.

The FAAC 740 is suitable for residential sliding gates with a maximum
leaf weight of 500 kg, while the FAAC 741 supports sliding gates up to
900 kg. The gearmotor is non-reversing, eliminating the need for
electric locks in normal installations.

The FAAC 740 delivers up to 450 N of traction and thrust force, while
the FAAC 741 provides up to 650 N. Both models operate at a gate speed
of approximately 12 metres per minute with a Z16 pinion.

The operator features a built-in, prewired control unit for quick and
convenient installation. The integrated 740D electronic board provides
programmable operating parameters and simplified configuration through
the LCD display.

Anti-crushing protection is provided through electronic control of the
drive torque. Versions equipped with an integrated encoder can provide
reverse function on obstacle detection along with accurate management of
partial opening and slowdown.

In the event of a power failure, the key-protected manual release
mechanism allows the sliding gate to be opened and closed manually.
