Description
DALI SUB E-12 F Active Subwoofer
The DALI SUB E-12 F is a powerful active subwoofer engineered to deliver deep, controlled and dynamic low-frequency performance for both Hi-Fi stereo and home theatre systems. Its large 12-inch driver, high-output Class D amplifier and rigid cabinet construction allow it to reproduce demanding bass passages with authority while integrating naturally with a wide range of DALI loudspeakers.
At the heart of the SUB E-12 F is a 12-inch (30.5 cm) long-stroke aluminium woofer. The stiff yet lightweight aluminium cone provides fast transient response and controlled movement. Its one-piece cone construction helps maintain piston-like movement and reduces unwanted distortion, allowing the subwoofer to integrate effectively with everything from compact bookshelf speakers to large floorstanding loudspeakers.
The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 170 watts of continuous IEC RMS power and up to 220 watts maximum amplifier output. This high-yield amplification provides the headroom required to reproduce powerful movie soundtracks, LFE effects and demanding music passages without compromising control.
The SUB E-12 F provides a frequency range of 28–190 Hz (±3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 112 dB. Its adjustable crossover operates from 40–120 Hz, allowing the subwoofer to be matched to the main speakers and room. RCA stereo and LFE inputs provide flexible connection to AV receivers, integrated amplifiers and preamplifiers.
The subwoofer uses a rigid MDF bass-reflex cabinet with a 36 Hz tuning frequency. Four oversized polymer-based spikes raise the cabinet from the floor, helping reduce unwanted turbulence underneath the enclosure while providing effective mechanical isolation. The SUB E-12 F can be positioned on the floor near a wall or in a corner, depending on room acoustics and desired bass distribution.
