Denon AVR-S670H 5.2-Channel 8K AV Receiver – 75W Dolby TrueHD Home Theatre Receiver

The Denon AVR-S670H is a 5.2-channel AV receiver designed to deliver high-quality surround sound, modern 8K video connectivity and flexible wireless music streaming in a compact home theatre platform. Its five discrete power amplifiers provide 75 watts per channel at 8 ohms, making it well suited to smaller home theatres, living-room entertainment systems and dedicated media rooms.

The Class AB amplification section delivers 75W per channel at 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with 0.08% THD when two channels are driven. It can also deliver 100W per channel at 6 ohms, 1kHz and 0.7% THD. The receiver supports compatible speaker loads from 4 to 16 ohms.

For movie and television soundtracks, the AVR-S670H supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio for high-quality lossless surround playback. Dolby Digital, DTS and compatible surround processing provide additional flexibility for a wide variety of content.

Audyssey MultEQ room calibration uses microphone-based measurements to help optimize the connected speakers according to the acoustic characteristics of the listening environment. Two subwoofer outputs provide flexible bass integration in a 5.2-channel system.

The AVR-S670H supports high-resolution audio playback including ALAC, FLAC and WAV files up to 24-bit/192kHz, as well as DSD audio up to 5.6MHz. HEOS Built-in enables network music streaming and multi-room audio, while Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2 provide convenient wireless playback options.

For modern displays and video sources, the receiver provides six HDMI inputs and one HDMI output with eARC. Three of the HDMI inputs and the HDMI output support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video signals. HDCP 2.3 ensures compatibility with protected high-resolution content.

HDR compatibility includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR and HLG. The AVR-S670H also supports gaming features including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Quick Frame Transport (QFT) with compatible equipment.
