Product Overview
The Akubela HyPanel KeyPlus KS53 is an all-in-one
smart home control panel designed to bring home automation, smart
intercom and Zigbee connectivity together in a single wall-mounted
device.
It combines a 4-inch multi-touch display with
six customizable touch buttons, allowing users to
control individual devices, groups and smart home scenes conveniently.
4-Inch Touchscreen
The HyPanel KeyPlus features a 4-inch multi-touch screen
with a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels. The display
provides a compact and intuitive interface for accessing smart home
controls and scenes.
An energy-saving mode helps reduce unnecessary screen activity when the
panel is not being used.
Six Customizable Touch Buttons
The panel features six physical touch buttons that can
be configured for different smart home functions. Buttons can be used
for quick access to lighting, locks, scenes and other compatible
automation functions.
The buttons are replaceable and support customizable silk-screen
printing, allowing the interface to be adapted to different home
automation requirements.
Built-in 2-Gang Relay
The HyPanel KeyPlus incorporates a 2-gang relay that
can directly control compatible lighting and electrical loads.
For the KS53-R2-EU, the total output is up to
1200W, with 800W/gang for resistive loads and
400W/gang for LED/CFL loads.
Zigbee 3.0 Gateway
The integrated Zigbee 3.0 gateway enables the
HyPanel KeyPlus to connect with compatible smart home devices.
The system supports up to 128 Zigbee sub-devices.

These connectivity options allow the KeyPlus to communicate with
compatible smart home devices and third-party systems.

Smart Intercom
HyPanel KeyPlus also functions as a smart intercom panel. It can work
with compatible Akuvox door phones to provide audio and video
communication and remote door unlocking.
The device includes dual microphones and a built-in
8Ω / 1.5W speaker for communication.
Android 13 Platform
The KeyPlus runs on Android 13 with
2GB RAM and 8GB ROM, providing a modern software
platform with broad application compatibility.
Built-in Sensors
The panel includes sensors that support convenient user interaction
and smart home automation:
- Proximity sensor
- Light sensor
The proximity sensor detects nearby users, while the light sensor
provides ambient light detection for supported functions.
Flexible Installation
HyPanel KeyPlus supports both horizontal and vertical
placement, providing flexibility when designing the wall
control layout.
The panel is designed for flush installation using a compatible
EU/UK or US backbox depending on the selected model.
