BenQ TK710STi 4K UHD Smart Laser Short Throw Projector – 3200 ANSI Lumens with Android TV & 4.2ms Gaming

The BenQ TK710STi is a high-performance 4K UHD smart laser short-throw projector designed for premium living-room entertainment, home cinema and responsive big-screen gaming. Combining 3200 ANSI lumens of brightness, 95% Rec.709 colour coverage, a 600,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and an exceptionally compact short-throw optical system, it delivers a large 4K image without requiring the long installation distance of a conventional projector.

The DLP projection system produces a 3840 × 2160 4K UHD image with approximately 8.3 million displayed pixels. Its laser illumination system provides 3200 ANSI lumens and works with light-source dimming to achieve a specified 600,000:1 FOFO contrast ratio, helping reproduce detailed highlights, stronger image depth and darker scenes.

With 95% coverage of the Rec.709 HDTV colour gamut, the TK710STi is engineered to provide natural and consistent colour reproduction for movies, television, sports and gaming. HDR10 and HLG compatibility further enhances compatible high-dynamic-range content.

The key installation advantage of the TK710STi is its 0.69–0.83 short-throw ratio. Combined with a 1.2x optical zoom, the projector can produce a large image from a relatively short distance, making it particularly suitable for compact living rooms, gaming rooms and spaces where traditional long-throw installation is impractical.

Image alignment is supported by 3D keystone correction with vertical, horizontal and rotational adjustment of up to ±30 degrees. A 4-point image adjustment function provides additional corner geometry control when the projector cannot be positioned perfectly square to the screen.

The TK710STi is also engineered for responsive gaming. BenQ specifies approximately 16.7ms input lag at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/60Hz, 8.3ms at 1080p/120Hz and as little as 4.2ms at 1080p/240Hz. Dedicated FPS, RPG, HDR-FPS and HDR-RPG picture modes allow picture characteristics to be optimised for different game genres.

Smart entertainment is provided through the included BenQ QS02 Android TV dongle. It provides access to compatible streaming applications including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube, along with Chromecast built-in, Google Assistant and Google Voice Search functionality.

Dual HDMI 2.0b inputs with HDCP 2.2 support provide connectivity for gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, streaming devices and other 4K video sources. HDMI eARC allows high-resolution audio, including compatible Dolby Atmos signals, to be sent to an external AV receiver, soundbar or home theatre audio system.

A USB Type-A connection provides power and service functionality, while RS-232 allows integration into compatible custom-control installations. A 3.5mm analog audio output is also included. For standalone use, the TK710STi incorporates a built-in 5W speaker.

The laser illumination system eliminates routine lamp replacement. BenQ’s current detailed specification lists a rated light-source life of 20,000 hours, while the India marketing page separately advertises up to 30,000 hours. The laser light source warranty in India is specified as 3 years or 15,000 hours, whichever occurs first.
