The Bose Bass Module 500 is a compact active subwoofer designed to add deeper, more impactful low-frequency performance to compatible Bose home theatre and soundbar systems. Its compact 10-inch cube enclosure makes it suitable for living rooms and entertainment spaces where a larger conventional subwoofer may be impractical.

Designed as a dedicated bass extension for compatible Bose soundbars, the Bass Module 500 adds low-frequency depth to movies, television programmes, music and other entertainment content. Its compact enclosure allows the module to deliver enhanced bass performance while maintaining a discreet footprint within the room.

The Bass Module 500 uses wireless connectivity for a straightforward connection to compatible Bose soundbars, reducing the need for a signal cable between the soundbar and subwoofer. A wired connection is also possible with the Bose Bass Module Connection Cable when used with supported Bose soundbar models.

For optimal performance, Bose recommends placing the Bass Module 500 on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with convenient access to an electrical outlet. Positioning closer to walls or corners can increase perceived bass, while moving the module farther from walls and corners can reduce bass emphasis.

The Bass Module 500 is controlled and configured as part of compatible Bose systems and works with the Bose Music app. Its compact dimensions and understated enclosure make it suitable for discreet placement alongside a television and soundbar.

Important compatibility note: The Bose Bass Module 500 is not compatible with the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar. It is compatible with selected Bose soundbars and the Bose TV Speaker, with the TV Speaker requiring a wired connection.
