Denon AVR-X1800H 7.2-Channel 8K AV Receiver
The Denon AVR-X1800H is a 7.2-channel AV receiver designed for immersive home theatre, high-resolution music playback and modern 8K entertainment systems. Its seven-channel Class AB amplification section provides 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms, delivering a flexible platform for surround sound, height-channel and multi-subwoofer configurations.
The amplifier section delivers 80W per channel at 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz under the specified conditions. With support for speakers rated between 4 and 16 ohms, the AVR-X1800H can be integrated with a wide range of home theatre and Hi-Fi loudspeakers.
For immersive cinema applications, the AVR-X1800H supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, allowing compatible soundtracks to create three-dimensional surround effects. Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and multi-channel PCM are also supported for high-quality digital audio reproduction.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction measures the acoustic characteristics of the listening environment and applies calibration to help optimize the connected speaker system. Two subwoofer outputs provide additional flexibility for low-frequency system configuration.
The AVR-X1800H supports high-resolution audio formats including ALAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF up to 24-bit/192kHz. HEOS Built-in provides network music streaming and multi-room audio functionality, while Apple AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide convenient wireless playback options.
For modern video sources, the receiver provides six HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, with one output supporting eARC. HDMI 2.1 connectivity supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through with compatible sources and displays. HDCP 2.3 provides support for protected high-definition content.
HDR compatibility includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. The AVR-X1800H is therefore suitable for modern 8K displays, 4K projectors, streaming devices, Blu-ray players and compatible gaming systems.
