LiYA LCR5 D’Appolito In-Wall LCR Speaker (Per Unit) – Dual 5.25″ Kevlar Woofers with Rotating Inverted-Dome Tweeter

The LiYA LCR5 is a high-performance passive in-wall loudspeaker engineered specifically for premium home cinema and architectural audio installations. Its D’Appolito two-way configuration places a centrally positioned tweeter between two 5.25-inch Kevlar woofers, creating a symmetrical acoustic radiation pattern and making the speaker equally suitable for horizontal centre-channel or vertical left/right installation.

The LCR5 uses dual 5.25-inch Kevlar cone woofers designed to provide controlled mid-bass, strong vocal reproduction and low distortion. Positioned between the woofers is a 1-inch inverted-dome tweeter that can rotate through 360 degrees and incorporates approximately 20 degrees of inclination, allowing high-frequency energy to be aimed toward the primary listening position.

LiYA specifies a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz within ±3dB, nominal impedance of 8 ohms and sensitivity of 90.5dB at 2.83V/1m. Recommended amplifier power is 30 to 100 watts, allowing the speaker to work with a broad selection of compatible AV receivers and power amplifiers.

Integrated acoustic adjustment controls provide additional installation flexibility. Tweeter output can be adjusted between -3dB, 0dB and +3dB, while the midrange can be adjusted between -2dB, 0dB and +2dB. These controls allow an installer to compensate for room acoustics, speaker positioning and surrounding surface characteristics.

The speaker measures approximately 440 × 173 × 86mm and requires a 415 × 147mm wall cut-out. LiYA’s current specification sheet lists approximately 90mm mounting depth, while the product webpage describes the cabinet depth as 86mm. Final wall-cavity clearance should therefore be physically confirmed before cutting.

Six heavy-duty mounting brackets secure the LCR5 into the wall structure, while the supplied paintable magnetic grille provides a clean, bezel-free appearance. Once installed, the speaker can blend discreetly into the room while delivering a consistent front soundstage for dedicated home cinema systems.
