The LiYA Maestro 8 is a flagship three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed for high-performance stereo music and premium home cinema systems. Its five-driver architecture combines dual 8-inch aluminium woofers, dual 5-inch dedicated midrange drivers and a 1-inch premium metal-dome tweeter to reproduce bass, vocals and high-frequency detail through dedicated driver sections.

The two 8-inch aluminium woofers provide substantial cone area for deep and controlled low-frequency reproduction, allowing the Maestro 8 to extend down to a manufacturer-specified 36Hz. Aluminium construction combines rigidity with relatively low moving mass, helping the drivers respond accurately to dynamic bass information.

Dual 5-inch midrange drivers handle the critical vocal and instrument range independently from the bass drivers. A 1-inch premium metal-dome tweeter completes the three-way system, extending high-frequency reproduction to 20kHz.

LiYA specifies a sensitivity of 89dB at 2.83V/1m, nominal impedance of 6 ohms and power handling from 20 to 200 watts. This makes the Maestro 8 suitable for pairing with capable integrated amplifiers, stereo power amplifiers and high-performance AV electronics appropriate for a 6-ohm loudspeaker load.

The driver system is housed in a high-mass vented enclosure. The ported cabinet is engineered to enhance low-frequency efficiency while controlling unwanted cabinet resonance. Each speaker weighs approximately 29kg, providing a substantial mechanical foundation for the large driver array.

Standing 1058mm tall, the Maestro 8 is designed for larger listening environments where full-scale music reproduction, strong dynamic capability and an expansive front soundstage are required. It can function as the main left and right speaker pair in a dedicated stereo system or as the front channels of a high-performance home theatre.
