The Denon AVR-X2800H is a 7.2-channel AV receiver designed to deliver immersive home theatre performance, high-resolution music playback and flexible connectivity for modern entertainment systems. Its seven-channel Class AB amplifier section provides 95 watts per channel at 8 ohms, making it suitable for a wide range of home theatre speaker configurations.
The receiver delivers 95W per channel at 8 ohms, 20Hz–20kHz with 0.05% THD under the specified 2-channel driven condition. Speaker impedance compatibility from 4 to 16 ohms provides installation flexibility with different home theatre and Hi-Fi loudspeakers.
For immersive cinema sound, the AVR-X2800H supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, allowing compatible soundtracks to create three-dimensional surround effects with overhead or height speakers. Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and multi-channel PCM are also supported for high-quality digital audio reproduction.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction measures the listening environment and adjusts the system to help achieve balanced performance throughout the room. The receiver also provides two independent subwoofer outputs for flexible low-frequency system configuration.
High-resolution music playback is supported through ALAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF files up to 24-bit/192kHz. HEOS Built-in provides access to network music streaming and multi-room audio, while Apple AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide additional wireless playback options.
For modern video systems, the AVR-X2800H provides six HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs. HDMI 2.1 connectivity supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video pass-through with compatible sources and displays. HDCP 2.3 and HDR formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG provide compatibility with modern home entertainment equipment.
