Common questions
How many speakers do I need for a 5.1 system?
Five speakers and one subwoofer: a centre channel for dialogue, left and right fronts, two surrounds, and the subwoofer for low frequencies. A 5.1.2 layout adds two height or in-ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos.
Should all the speakers be the same brand?
The front three matter most. Using the same brand and range for the centre and fronts keeps voices consistent as sound moves across the screen. Surrounds and heights can differ without an obvious penalty.
Can I hear them before I buy?
Yes. Most models here can be demonstrated at the Audrixs experience centre in Delhi, which is the only reliable way to compare speakers.
