Ascendo SV-12 Powered Subwoofer – 12-Inch High-Performance Class D Home Theatre Subwoofer

The Ascendo SV-12 is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed for demanding home theatre and Hi-Fi applications. It combines a 12-inch (305 mm) composite-cone driver with a high-efficiency Class D amplifier rated at 500W RMS, delivering powerful low-frequency reproduction from a relatively compact floorstanding enclosure.

The 12-inch composite-cone driver is housed in a vented, internally braced MDF cabinet. The enclosure is engineered for controlled low-frequency reproduction, while its bass-reflex design helps extend the usable bass response. The supplied black acoustic fabric grille provides a clean appearance for both dedicated cinema rooms and conventional living-room installations.

The SV-12 provides a specified frequency response of 25Hz–150Hz and incorporates a variable low-pass crossover adjustable from 40Hz to 150Hz. This allows the subwoofer to be integrated with a wide range of main loudspeakers and home theatre systems. A phase control from 0° to 180° provides additional flexibility when optimizing the subwoofer’s integration with the main speakers.

Connectivity is designed for both home cinema processors and stereo systems. The SV-12 provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections for LFE and line-level signals, together with corresponding outputs for system integration or connection of an additional subwoofer.

An automatic standby/on-off function provides convenient operation by allowing the subwoofer to activate when an audio signal is detected and return to standby when the system is not in use. The amplifier also supports switchable 110V and 220V operation.

With its 12-inch driver, 500W RMS Class D amplification, adjustable crossover and phase control, the Ascendo SV-12 is suited to dedicated home cinema systems, stereo music systems and high-output bass applications where controlled and dynamic low-frequency reproduction is required.
