BenQ GV32 FHD Smart Portable Projector
The BenQ GV32 is a compact Full HD smart portable projector designed for flexible bedroom, living-room and portable entertainment installations. Combining 500 ANSI-lumen LED projection, built-in Google TV, an integrated 18W 2.1-channel speaker system and an adjustable projection base, the GV32 provides an all-in-one solution for movies, streaming, casual gaming and ceiling projection.
The projector uses DLP display technology with a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a native 16:9 aspect ratio. BenQ specifies 500 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 100,000:1 FOFO contrast ratio and 95% coverage of the Rec.709 colour space. Support for HDR10 and HLG content, together with BenQ CinematicColor technology, is designed to provide accurate and engaging colour reproduction for home entertainment.
The LED light source is rated for approximately 20,000 hours in Normal Mode and up to 30,000 hours in Eco Mode, significantly reducing the maintenance requirements associated with conventional replaceable projector lamps.
Built-in Google TV provides direct access to compatible streaming applications without requiring a separate external streaming device. Google Cast and compatible iOS screen mirroring provide additional wireless playback options, while dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support flexible smart-device connectivity.
The GV32 is particularly suited to flexible wall and ceiling projection. Its integrated base provides up to 135 degrees of vertical adjustment, allowing the projector to transition from conventional wall projection to bedside ceiling viewing. BenQ also incorporates Auto Focus, Auto 2D Keystone and Rotation, Auto Image Rotation, Screen Fit, Obstacle Avoidance and Digital Zoom to simplify installation when the projector is repositioned.
Despite its compact dimensions, the GV32 incorporates a dedicated 2.1-channel sound system rated at 18W total output. Two 4W speakers are combined with a 10W chamber woofer to provide clearer dialogue and stronger low-frequency performance than a conventional compact projector speaker system.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.3, USB Type-A and a multifunction USB Type-C connection. USB-C supports DisplayPort video input as well as Power Delivery input and output functions. The projector does not contain an internal battery; it can be operated from mains power or from a compatible external USB-C power bank rated at 60W or higher.
With a net weight of approximately 1.6kg and compact 130 × 211.2 × 191.4 mm dimensions, the GV32 is easy to reposition around the home while still supporting image sizes up to approximately 120 inches under suitable installation conditions.
