BenQ TK710 4K UHD Laser Home Entertainment Projector
The BenQ TK710 is a high-brightness 4K UHD laser projector engineered for premium living-room entertainment, home cinema and responsive big-screen gaming. Combining 3200 ANSI lumens, 4K UHD resolution, 95% Rec.709 colour coverage and a high-contrast laser light engine, it is designed to deliver vivid movies, sports and games even in rooms where some ambient light is present.
The DLP projection system produces a 3840 × 2160 4K UHD image with approximately 8.3 million individually addressable pixels. Its laser illumination system delivers 3200 ANSI lumens and works with light-source dimming to achieve a specified FOFO contrast ratio of 600,000:1, providing improved depth and shadow detail across cinematic and gaming content.
Colour reproduction covers 95% of the Rec.709 HDTV colour gamut, helping the TK710 produce natural and consistent colours for movies, television, sports and games. HDR10 and HLG compatibility further improves the reproduction of compatible high-dynamic-range content.
The TK710 is particularly well suited to gaming. BenQ specifies an input lag of approximately 16.7ms at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/60Hz, 8.3ms at 1080p/120Hz and as low as 4.2ms at 1080p/240Hz. Dedicated FPS, RPG, HDR-FPS and HDR-RPG picture modes allow the image to be optimised for different gaming genres.
Installation flexibility is provided by a 1.15–1.50 throw ratio and 1.3x optical zoom. A +10% vertical lens-shift mechanism allows the projected image to be repositioned vertically without relying entirely on digital geometry correction, while 3D keystone adjustment provides vertical, horizontal and rotational correction of up to ±30 degrees.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0b inputs with HDCP 2.2 support, allowing connection to gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, streaming devices and other 4K sources. HDMI eARC can transmit high-quality audio, including compatible Dolby Atmos signals, to an external soundbar, AV receiver or home theatre audio system.
A USB Type-A port provides power and service functionality, while RS-232 enables integration into compatible custom-control installations. A 3.5mm analog audio output is also available. For standalone use, the projector incorporates a built-in 5W speaker.
The laser light source eliminates routine lamp replacement and provides substantially longer operating life than conventional lamp-based projectors. BenQ’s current detailed technical specification lists approximately 20,000 hours of light-source life, while the India marketing page separately promotes up to 30,000 hours. The India warranty covers the projector for 3 years onsite and the laser light source for 3 years or 15,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first.
