JBL Bar 1300MK2 11.1.4 Channel Soundbar System
The JBL Bar 1300MK2 is a premium 11.1.4-channel home theatre soundbar system designed to deliver immersive Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® spatial audio without the complexity of a conventional wired surround system. It combines a high-output main soundbar, two detachable wireless surround speakers and a powerful dual-8-inch wireless subwoofer.
The soundbar incorporates eight 50 × 75 mm racetrack drivers, seven 1-inch (25 mm) tweeters and four 3-inch (75 mm) up-firing full-range drivers. The up-firing drivers are designed to reproduce height effects for Dolby Atmos® content, while JBL MultiBeam™ 3.0 technology helps create a wider and more immersive soundstage.
The two detachable wireless surround speakers add dedicated rear-channel and height-channel reproduction without requiring permanent speaker wiring. Each surround speaker contains two 50 × 90 mm racetrack drivers, one 2-inch (50 mm) full-range driver and one 3-inch (75 mm) up-firing full-range driver. Their integrated lithium batteries provide up to 10 hours of playback depending on content and volume.
For low-frequency reproduction, the JBL Bar 1300MK2 includes a wireless subwoofer equipped with two 8-inch (200 mm) drivers. JBL specifies up to 1200W maximum output for the subwoofer at 1% THD, providing dedicated bass reproduction for movie soundtracks, music and gaming.
The complete system is rated at up to 2470W maximum speaker output at 1% THD, with a published RMS figure of 1235W at 1% THD. JBL specifies a system frequency response of 33Hz–20kHz (-6dB).
Connectivity is extensive, with three HDMI inputs and one HDMI eARC output. The system supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision passthrough, making it suitable for modern 4K entertainment sources. Optical input, Bluetooth and USB provide additional playback options.
The JBL Bar 1300MK2 also incorporates Wi-Fi connectivity and works with supported music streaming and smart-home ecosystems. The JBL ONE app provides system setup, sound customization, equalization and software updates. Features include PureVoice 2.0, SmartDetails, AI Sound Boost, night listening, easy sound calibration and broadcasting functionality.
When detached from the main soundbar, either or both surround speakers can also be paired with Bluetooth devices for portable playback around the home. When they are returned to the soundbar, they recharge for the next listening session.
