LiYA CS66 6.5″ In-Ceiling Speaker
The LiYA CS66 is a premium passive in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for high-quality architectural audio installations. Combining a 6.5-inch Kevlar cone woofer with a 1-inch titanium tweeter, the CS66 provides a discreet solution for Hi-Fi music, home theatre, distributed audio and custom AV systems.
The 6.5-inch Kevlar woofer uses a lightweight and rigid cone material designed to provide controlled mid-bass reproduction and detailed midrange performance. It is paired with a 1-inch titanium tweeter engineered for fast transient response and clear high-frequency reproduction.
LiYA specifies a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz, a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 90dB at 1W/1m. The speaker supports a manufacturer-specified power-handling range of 30 to 100 watts, making it suitable for integration with a wide variety of compatible stereo amplifiers and AV receivers.
The CS66 has an outer diameter of approximately 225mm and requires a 210mm ceiling cut-out. LiYA’s current technical specification sheet lists a mounting depth of approximately 126mm. An integrated clamp mounting system provides secure installation into suitable ceiling materials.
A low-profile, bezel-free magnetic grille is included and can be painted to match the surrounding ceiling finish. This allows the CS66 to maintain a discreet architectural appearance while providing high-quality sound throughout the listening space.
