LiYA CSA65 6.5″ 15° Angled In-Ceiling Speaker (Per Unit) – Kevlar Woofer with Titanium Dome Tweeter

The LiYA CSA65 is a premium passive angled in-ceiling speaker designed for home theatre and architectural audio installations where sound needs to be directed toward a specific listening area. Unlike a conventional downward-firing ceiling speaker, the CSA65 incorporates a 15-degree angled baffle that directs the driver array toward the listener for improved imaging, dialogue localisation and sonic focus.

The two-way driver system combines a 6.5-inch Kevlar cone woofer with a titanium dome tweeter. The rigid Kevlar diaphragm is designed to provide controlled mid-bass and natural midrange reproduction, while the titanium tweeter delivers detailed and extended high-frequency performance.

LiYA specifies a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz, a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 90dB at 1W/1m. Manufacturer-specified power handling is 30 to 100 watts, making the CSA65 suitable for use with a broad range of compatible stereo amplifiers and home theatre AV receivers.

The 15-degree directional architecture makes the CSA65 particularly useful where conventional speaker positioning is difficult. It can be installed in the ceiling while directing acoustic energy toward the primary seating area, making it suitable for front, centre, surround or focused music applications in custom home cinema systems.

The speaker measures approximately 225 × 105mm, while LiYA’s current technical specification sheet lists a 238mm ceiling cut-out and 126mm mounting depth. A professional clamp installation system is used to secure the speaker into suitable ceiling material.

A low-profile paintable magnetic grille is included, allowing the CSA65 to blend discreetly with the surrounding ceiling while maintaining the directional benefits of its internally angled driver assembly.
