The Sony BRAVIA Projector 9 is a premium 4K HDR laser home theatre projector designed for high-end cinematic installations. It combines Sony’s native 4K SXRD panel technology with advanced XR image processing, a powerful laser light source and flexible motorised lens controls to deliver a detailed and immersive large-screen experience.

The projector uses Sony’s 4K SXRD panel technology with a native resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, delivering highly detailed and sharp 4K images. The advanced XR Processor for Projector analyses and optimises image content for improved contrast, colour, texture and overall picture quality.

A long-lasting laser light source provides up to 3,400 lumens of brightness, making the projector suitable for large projection screens and dedicated home cinema environments. The laser light source is designed for approximately 20,000 hours of operation, reducing the maintenance associated with conventional lamp-based projectors.

The BRAVIA Projector 9 supports HDR10 and HLG content, while Sony’s advanced HDR processing helps optimise brightness and detail across individual scenes. This provides greater depth and realism in both bright highlights and darker areas of the image.

The projector features a motorised lens system with powered zoom, focus and lens shift, providing flexible installation options. Lens adjustment allows the projector to be accurately positioned and aligned with large home cinema screens.

Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs for connecting compatible AV receivers, Blu-ray players, streaming devices, gaming consoles and other video sources. Additional control connections support integration into professional custom AV and home automation systems.
