LiYA CS65BT 6.5″ Bluetooth In-Ceiling Speaker (Per Pair) – 2 × 40W Active System with Bluetooth 5.3

The LiYA CS65BT is an active Bluetooth in-ceiling stereo speaker system designed for discreet architectural audio installations. Supplied as a pair consisting of one CS65BT Master speaker and one CS65 Slave speaker, it integrates stereo amplification and Bluetooth connectivity directly into the ceiling-speaker system, reducing the need for a separate external amplifier or receiver.

Each speaker uses a 6.5-inch Kevlar cone woofer paired with a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter. LiYA specifies a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz within ±3dB, providing broad-band reproduction suitable for music, television audio, background sound and everyday entertainment.

The CS65BT Master incorporates a built-in stereo amplifier rated at 2 × 40 watts into 8 ohms. One amplifier channel powers the Master loudspeaker while the second channel drives the supplied passive CS65 Slave speaker through conventional speaker cable. The complete system therefore provides an integrated 80W stereo amplification solution without requiring a separate rack-mounted amplifier.

Bluetooth 5.3 is built directly into the Master speaker for wireless streaming from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers. This makes the CS65BT particularly suitable for bedrooms, living spaces, offices, hospitality environments and other areas where a simple, permanently installed wireless audio system is preferred.

The Master speaker operates from a DC 24V / 2.5A power supply. LiYA specifies a sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal speaker impedance of 8 ohms.

The architectural enclosure has an outer diameter of approximately 225mm and requires a 210mm ceiling cut-out. LiYA lists a 102mm required ceiling depth, while its technical sheet separately specifies a 126mm mounting depth. A low-profile paintable magnetic grille is included to help the system blend discreetly into the surrounding ceiling finish.

The supplied dealer information also references Sub Out, Line Out, Optical and AUX connectivity. These connections are not currently documented on LiYA’s official CS65BT webpage or published technical specification sheet, so they should be physically verified on the product or confirmed by LiYA before being advertised as official features.
