DALI PHANTOM M-250 In-Wall LCR Speaker (Each) – 2-Way High-Performance Architectural Loudspeaker

The DALI PHANTOM M-250 is a high-performance 2-way in-wall loudspeaker designed for premium multi-channel home theatre and stereo systems. Sold individually, the M-250 can be used as a front, centre or surround speaker, delivering spacious and detailed sound while maintaining the discreet appearance of an architectural in-wall installation.

The PHANTOM M-250 features two 5-inch wood-fibre cone low/mid-frequency drivers paired with a large 28 mm soft-dome tweeter. The two woofers use a flat-cone geometry that helps maximise the available cabinet volume while providing clean and detailed low and midrange reproduction. DALI also uses a long-excursion bass driver and a dedicated midrange driver for smooth integration with the tweeter.

The 28 mm soft-dome tweeter is designed for high dynamic response, excellent power handling and smooth integration with the midrange. Its lightweight woven-fabric diaphragm allows the tweeter to produce detailed high frequencies while maintaining a wide dispersion pattern, helping create a larger listening sweet spot.

The M-250 incorporates DALI’s patented SMC technology. The woofers use a 25 mm voice coil with an iron/SMC composite pole piece, which is designed to significantly reduce mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents. This improves bass control, micro-detail reproduction and transient response.

With a frequency response of 58–24,000 Hz ±3 dB, 89 dB sensitivity, 6 Ω nominal impedance and a maximum SPL of 107 dB, the PHANTOM M-250 is capable of delivering dynamic performance in demanding home theatre environments. DALI recommends amplification between 30 and 180 watts.

The M-250 uses a slim, glass-reinforced ABS cabinet with a mounting depth of approximately 100 mm. Twin bass-reflex ports help release pressure from the compact cabinet and contribute to spacious low-frequency reproduction. The supplied magnetic front grille is white and paintable, allowing the speaker to blend discreetly with the surrounding wall.
