M&K Sound IC65 In-Ceiling Speakers
The M&K Sound IC65 is a premium 2-way coaxial in-ceiling speaker designed for high-quality home cinema, Dolby Atmos and whole-home audio applications. Its discreet architectural design allows powerful and detailed sound to blend seamlessly into modern interiors.
The IC65 features a 6.5-inch mineral-filled polypropylene mid-woofer that delivers controlled bass and clear midrange reproduction. The driver is designed to provide dynamic and accurate performance for both music and movie soundtracks.
High-frequency performance is handled by a 1-inch coated silk dome tweeter. The tweeter can swivel by up to 15 degrees, allowing installers to direct high-frequency sound toward the main listening position for improved clarity and imaging.
With its 2-way coaxial configuration, the IC65 combines the mid-woofer and tweeter on a common acoustic axis, providing consistent sound dispersion across the listening area. This makes it particularly suitable for ceiling-mounted surround and height channels.
The IC65 offers a frequency response of approximately 70 Hz–20 kHz with the optional enclosure can and extends to approximately 50 Hz–20 kHz without the can. With 91 dB sensitivity and 150W power handling, it is suitable for powerful residential audio and home theatre systems.
The speaker uses a 4-ohm impedance and can be paired with compatible AV receivers and power amplifiers. Its performance makes it suitable for music playback, surround sound and immersive object-based audio systems.
