M&K Sound V12+ Subwoofer – 12-Inch THX Certified Select Active Subwoofer

The M&K Sound V12+ is a compact, high-performance active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, accurate and powerful bass for premium home theatre and music systems. Finished in an elegant White Satin finish, the V12+ combines a 12-inch long-throw driver, powerful amplification and advanced room correction features in a compact sealed enclosure.

At the heart of the V12+ is a 12-inch long-throw low-frequency driver designed to deliver deep bass with excellent control and dynamic impact. The driver is housed in a sealed, anti-resonant enclosure that helps maintain accurate and articulate low-frequency reproduction.

The V12+ is powered by a high-performance amplifier delivering 400 watts RMS and 800 watts peak power. This substantial power reserve allows the subwoofer to produce powerful bass while maintaining control during demanding movie soundtracks and music playback.

The subwoofer provides a frequency response of approximately 20 Hz–200 Hz, with the low-frequency response extending to approximately 20 Hz at -6 dB. This allows the V12+ to reproduce the deep bass effects found in cinematic soundtracks, music and immersive home theatre content.

The M&K Sound V12+ is THX Certified Select, making it suitable for medium-sized home theatres and living rooms. THX certification confirms that the subwoofer is designed to achieve high-output, low-distortion performance suitable for reference-level cinema playback in rooms of up to approximately 2,000 cubic feet.

One of the major features of the V12+ is its M&K App control. Users can conveniently adjust volume, crossover frequency, phase and delay from a compatible mobile device without needing to access the rear panel of the subwoofer.

The M&K App also provides Manual EQ and Auto EQ functionality. Manual EQ allows adjustment of four independent parametric equalisation bands, while Auto EQ can help compensate for room-related acoustic anomalies to achieve smoother and more accurate bass at the listening position.

The V12+ features a continuously adjustable low-pass filter from approximately 43 Hz to 300 Hz, along with 0–360-degree phase control. These controls allow the subwoofer to be precisely integrated with the main speakers and room acoustics.

Connectivity is provided through left and right RCA line-level inputs and outputs, making the V12+ compatible with a wide range of AV receivers, processors, preamplifiers and stereo systems.

The compact cabinet measures approximately 395 × 395 × 395 mm, making it easier to position in living rooms and dedicated media spaces than many larger high-output subwoofers. Its curved and tapered housing and White Satin finish provide a sophisticated appearance suitable for design-conscious interiors.
